Aluminum oxide particles in a closed coat offer a fast cut for grinding and dual action (D/A) sanding on metal. This versatile disc provides a fast, efficient method for deburring, blending, cleaning up, and finishing metal parts and surfaces of various sizes and shapes.

A PSA or pressure-sensitive adhesive disc is pressed onto a backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

The 3M&#8482 Stikit&#8482 Paper Disc 735U with tabbed liner combines long-lasting 3M ceramic/ aluminum oxide blend with the convenience of a tabbed adhesive backing for a major boost in productivity. These versatile ceramic blend discs provide an efficient solution for sanding and finishing wood, metals, fiberglass, and other solid surfaces, as well as for blending and finishing on aluminum and carbon steel. The Stikit system is designed for convenience in the workroom, where quick disc changes increase productivity, and the tab on the liner simplifies removal of the liner from the adhesive backing. The mid-weight paper backing offers flexibility for sanding contours, and an anti-loading coat on the abrasive surface helps prevent loading. A resin bond protects the disc from deterioration.

Stikit discs are used with a random orbital sander fitted with a Stikit disc pad (both sold separately).
